What is the difference between injection molds and compression molds

1. Different composition molds
Pressure injection mold: fixed mold, fixed on the fixed mold installation plate of the die-casting machine, with a straight runner connected to the nozzle or pressure chamber; The movable mold is fixed on the installation plate of the die-casting movable mold, and when the movable mold installation plate moves to open and close the mold, it closes to form the mold cavity and the casting system, and the liquid metal fills the mold cavity under high pressure; When opening the mold, the moving mold and the fixed mold are separated, and the casting is pushed out with the help of a push out mechanism located on the moving mold.
Injection mold: The moving mold is installed on the moving template of the injection molding machine, and the fixed mold is installed on the fixed template of the injection molding machine. During injection molding, the movable and fixed molds are closed to form the pouring system and cavity. When opening the mold, the movable and fixed molds are separated to remove the plastic product. In order to reduce the heavy workload of mold design and manufacturing, most injection molds use standard mold frames.

2. Different mold elements
Die casting mold: Die casting mold is one of the three major elements of die casting production. A correctly and reasonably structured mold is a prerequisite for the smooth progress of die casting production, and plays an important role in ensuring the quality of castings (pass rate).
Injection molding: Controlling fluid temperature is the most commonly used method, and the control accuracy can meet the requirements of most situations. Using this control method, the displayed temperature on the controller is not consistent with the mold temperature; The temperature fluctuation of the mold is quite large because the thermal factors affecting the mold are not directly measured and compensated for, including changes in injection cycle, injection speed, melting temperature, and room temperature.

3. Disadvantages vary
Pressure injection mold: Although the smoothness of the fixed mold cavity is very smooth, the phenomenon of sticking to the fixed mold still occurs due to the deep cavity.
Injection mold: The temperature inside the injection mold is uneven at various points.
